Our Beliefs
Our Statement of Faith
- We believe in one God who is eternally existent in three persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that the Bible, both Old and the New Testaments, are the inerrant and inspired Word of God, and that it is the ONLY reliable rule for faith and practice.
- We believe that the only way to a right relationship with God is by trusting in Christ alone. It is only through His death on the cross, where He paid the price for our sins, and in His bodily resurrection from the dead that we can have forgiveness of our sins, eternal life in heaven and an abundant life here on earth.
- We believe in the final resurrection of those in Christ to eternal life in heaven and those who did not trust in Him to eternal punishment in hell.
- We believe that Jesus will come again as he promised.
- We believe that the Holy Spirit brings a person to confess their sins and to put their faith in Christ. We also believe that the Holy Spirit gives gifts that enable the believer to joyfully and powerfully serve the Lord.
- We believe in water baptism as an outward testimony of the inward work of Christ in our lives and in the celebration of Holy Communion as a visible testimony of our acceptance of His work of grace in our lives.
