My Testimony
I was born in a Brahmin Hindu family in Bombay India. Growing up as a little boy I was very active in my religion. I was a follower of Sai Baba (a guru). My parents were very religious and they took me to the Hindu temples. I wanted to know GOD from my childhood. I knew there was a God and I wanted to get close to Him. When I was sixteen, I migrated to the United States and was living in Houston, TX. While I was studying Engineering at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. A Baptist believer witnessed to me about Christ. At first I told him that I was a Hindu and would die a Hindu. I saw the Love of Christ that he had for me. Six months later, in March of 1982, I accepted Jesus Christ in to my heart. One month later I was baptized. That was the best decision I ever made in my life, and it’s began to change as I drew closer and closer to the Lord. I was baptized in the Holy Ghost and began to Speak in tongues in April, 1983.
My Christian walk has been full of challenges but the Lord was faithful to bring me through in each and every situation. I always wanted to go to India and take the message of Christ to my homeland. I made this my mission in life. After about 6 years I finally went to India in 1988, as a missionary. There I met my wife Lata in Delhi and 6 months later we were married. She was a devout follower of Santoshi Mata (a Hindu goddess). At 13 years of age she accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. We were married in February, 1989. I am the only Christian in my family.
The Lord has blessed us with two beautiful children; (Sonny) who is 11 years old and my daughter (Elizabeth) is 7 years old. Our vision is to reach the millions of people in Northern India who have never heard the Gospel. Many people have never even heard the Gospel once in their lifetime. I have been working full time in India since Feb., 1995. We served for two years in South India (Kerala) to promote the Gospel. We are now serving in Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. I am an American citizen born in Bombay, India. We frequently travel to the USA to Preach, Pray and to raise funds for the work in India. I am ordained and licensed under Pinecrest Ministerial Fellowship in Salisbury, NY. We attend New Life Fellowship church in Delhi.
There is going to be a mighty explosion of the gospel in India soon. We ask you to stand with us in prayer and support. I would like to invite those of you the Lord has called to come and be a part of the great Harvest in India. I want to thank you for making it possible for us to serve in this part of God’s Vineyard. Thanks for your prayer and support.
In His Service:
